INLINE MIXED FLOW DUCT FAN

Available in four sizes, the XIMX range of plastic mixed flow units offers duties for a wide range of ducted applications.Inline fans dont have to be placed at the beginning or end of a duct but can be installed at any point in a duct. In most cases, the impeller of an inline fan produces a flow which has characteristics of both axial and centrifugal flows, and is often been refered to as “mixed flow”. As a result, inline fans are capable of pushing air for longer distances at a relatively low power consumption. This is a clear advantage when compared to wall fans who can only expell air over very short duct lengths. In addition, inline fans produce lower sound levels when compared to other fan types which makes them suitable for installation within false ceilings.
